Welcome to my Living on SSI site. This site will help people that are living on the US Federal Government’s SSI Program make ends meet and manage their limited resources. In 2024, SSI provides $943 + State contribution. While in some countries, this may sound like a lot of money, but in reality as of 2022 – poverty line is $1,300. This obviously means that the recipient of SSI is living below the poverty line.

With this site, I am hoping I can help people navigate how to live on such a small ration, and make due. You would still be living below the poverty line, but it will help make things a little easier. Obviously, if you have any questions, consider reaching out to me by email. If you need to reach out to Social Security, call +1 800 772 1213. From there, you will be able to connect with Social Security for all of your SSI needs.
